Ladies of Friends, Flowers and Musings,
I do hope you enjoy this little poem I've penned just for you.
I wish for you all a most blessed and joyous Thanksgiving holiday.
(penned by Joanne Miller on November 22, 1999)
Thanksgiving, dear sisters, is a time of good cheer
To celebrate with loved ones from far and near.
To praise God for His blessings all through the year,
To lay aside anxieties and every small care.
It's a time to reflect on each one we hold dear,
As we carve the roast turkey ('tis a treat most rare),
So raise your glasses ladies, and join with me e'er
As we toast Thanksgiving blessings in our
Victorian garden so fair!
